In order to stabilize the wind flow and reduce the turbulence, stainless steel honeycomb structure is applied to the wind tunnel. It is used to straighten the air flow in a wind tunnel.
Honeycomb seals are manufactured to our customer’s specification and drawing for aircraft engines. Honeycomb seals can be fabricated in strip, segment or in ring form.
The honeycomb seals are used to seal a gap between rotating moving blades and a stationary housing of a gas/steam turbine. They are also used for sealing between guide blades and the rotor of a gas/steam turbine.
Honeycomb vents are utilized in military shelters where EMI shielding and heat dissipation are required for long-term performance.
